Uni-Directional Woven Roving
Fibreglass Uni-Directional Woven Roving result in fabric that has high fatique strength and stiffness.
Used in the aerospace, industrial and medical industries or applications that do not require complex-shaped areas eg. flat structures and panels.

Warp Beam
A warp beam is a strong horizontal beam used in a textile weaving machine to hold and support the warp yarns before they are woven into fabric.
In simple terms:
Warp = the yarns running lengthwise through the fabric.
Weft = the yarn that runs across the warp.
Warp beam = the large beam/roll at the back of the loom where the warp yarns are wound and stored.
It feeds the warp yarns forward into the weaving process at a controlled tension.
In fiberglass weaving
For fiberglass woven fabrics, the warp beam carries the longitudinal fiberglass yarns or rovings. Maintaining the correct tension is important because uneven tension can cause:
Uneven fabric width
Loose or tight warp yarns
Distortion of the weave
Wrinkles
Poor fabric quality
