Fibreglass Materials, Fabrics and Matting
Nivitex Fibreglass and Resin manufacture a range of fibreglass materials such as Woven Rovings, Woven Tapes etc. and supplies Chopped Strand Matt, Combination Fabrics, C-Glass Tissue, Continuous Matts and RTM Infusion core materials.
Bi-Directional Woven Roving is fibreglass fabric that is made by interweaving direct rovings, resulting in a uniform tension. Used for high performance reinforcement applications with high dimensional stability and easy handling.

Weaving off a Kriel
A woven fiberglass fabric made by interlacing continuous fiberglass yarns in a regular pattern.
The weave provides strength, stability, and good resin absorption, making it suitable for composite manufacturing.
A woven fiberglass fabric is produced by weaving fiberglass yarns together at right angles:
- Warp – the yarns running lengthwise.
- Weft (fill) – the yarns woven across the width.
This creates a strong, stable fabric that can be laminated with polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resin.
