Mould Making - Silicone Rubber

RTV 555 Silicone Moulding Rubber

Quantity: 1kg, 5kg and 25kg

Two component silicone elastomer cross-linking at room temperature by a poly-condensation reaction. The resulting product is flexible, elastic and gives excellent tear resistance.

RTV555 is ideally suited for detailed reproduction.

Moulds made from RTV555 are used in the manufacture of pieces in polyester resin, plaster, cement, polyurethane, wax and soap.

It has special applications in:

  • Art and decoration: moulding of sculptures and statuettes.
  • Building: Decorative features.
  • Furnishings: Casting of furniture and decorations.
  • Arts & Crafts: Soap and candles.

RTV 586 Silicone Rubber

Quantity: 1kg, 5kg and 25kg

RTV586 is the highest quality and versatile mould making material available. It has a unique set of characteristics that enable it to outperform epoxies, urethane, and such organic materials as latex rubber.

The ideal solution for a wide range of moulding requirements. Polyester and epoxy resins, acrylics, urethane and urethane foams, concrete, waxes and plasters can all be formed using silicone rubber moulds.

Particularly useful for:

  • Art and decoration: moulding of sculptures and statuetettes.
  • Building: prefabricated decorative elements.

RTV HY 620 Silicone Rubber

Quantity: 1kg, 5kg and 25kg

RTV HY 620 is a two part silicone rubber, which cures at room temperature within 2 to 5 hours depending on the percentage catalyst added.

RTV HY 625 Silicone Rubber

Quantity: 1kg, 5kg and 25kg

RTV HY 625 is a two part silicone rubber, which cures at room temperature within 2 to 5 hours depending on the percentage catalyst added. Hardness shore a 24-26

Addition Cure E626 Silicone Rubber

Quantity: 1kg, 5kg and 25kg

E 625 is an addition cure, two-component silicone rubber, Part A and part B. It offers exceptional fluidity and good operability. The mixing ratio is 1:1, mainly be suitable for mould making applications.

Applications:

Addition moulding silicone could be mainly used for making concrete stones, wax moulds, PU moulds, resin moulds, gypsum casting, candle moulding and chocolate , candy and any other FDA food product mould making etc.

Thixotropic Agent

Quantity: 1kg

Is an additional agent that can be added to the 2 part RTV silicone rubber to help it form a butter-on consistancy within seconds of addition to catalysed liquid rubber. This is the perfect addition to the silicone rubber when it is needed to be applied to a vertical surface using a brush on or butter on technique.
